Shape/Value Drawing Rubric

Coming soon. We are experiencing problems with the site. The rubric has been copied and pasted below.

Shape/Value Media Studies

Objectives: You have submitted your three best media studies. Within EACH study, you used only SHAPE and VALUE to depict the FORMS you observed, not lines.
_____/25

Design: Your studies reflect a sense of SPACE (depth) (you included parts of the table and paper on which the objects were sitting). Your studies achieve a sense of VISUAL MOVEMENT because you considered where you placed your objects on the format of your paper.
_____/25

Studio Skills: You adjusted pressure, amount of water, or color of paper within your studies to achieve a variety of VALUES. A wide range of values is portrayed, from the darkest darks to the lightest lights (and all the in-betweens!).
_____/25

Presentation: The three submitted studies are evident of quality time, thought, and care. They are free of unnecessary rips, tears, smudges, or smears.
